In 1980, Dr. Carlos Carboni Escalante, driven by great vision and determination, founded a pharmaceutical laboratory with the goal of producing high-quality generic medications. This company was named Lisan S.A., and from the beginning, it has strived to operate under the best practices in quality, innovation, responsibility, passion, and world-class standards. Lisan produces high-quality medications for both human and veterinary use, including tablets, capsules, creams and ointments, syrups, suspensions, and granules. All products undergo strict quality control, testing, and stability analysis, in compliance with the standards established by the Ministry of Health of Costa Rica. Today, we work in partnership with the main pharmaceutical distributors nationwide, who supply medications to pharmacies and natural product stores across the country, serving both public and private markets. In addition, we have expanded the sale of our products to several countries in the Central American region and to the U.S. market, with successful presence on Amazon.
