Tirimbina Biological Reserve is a natural sanctuary, which protects 345 hectares of forest in the Sarapiquí region, Heredia. Just 2 hours from San José, Tirimbina offers its visitors a unique experience in the tropical forest through tours on its trails and hanging bridges, accommodation and restaurant. The reserve is recognized for its research and conservation of biodiversity, with projects funded by ecotourism, so when you visit us you collaborate with scientific research and free environmental education for local communities.
