Valle Escondido Nature Reserve Hotel & Farm is a top award winning destination experience in Monteverde. This unique location, combining a nature preserve with an organic farm, is a place where guests enjoy access to several kilometers of nature trails with waterfalls and views extending to the Pacific Ocean. Onsite bird watching, yoga, farm tours and night tours are available. Opening 35 years ago as one of the first hotels in Monteverde, Valle Escondido is still family owned and run. Located just a few minutes from Santa Elena center, visitors often remark seeing more birds and mammals in Valle Escondido Preserve than in any other location. Our farm to table Café is famous for its greenhouse setting, where guests can eat and enjoy fresh organic food in the same location the plants are grown. Our rooms are spacious and elegantly decorated. We look forward to providing our guests with an unforgettable experience that combines quality hospitality, nature and healthy living.
